Monthly Zoom Rooms -- Sutta Study

FoEBT's's sutta study continues in February 2024 with the discourse, 'To Vacchagotta on the Three Knowledges' (MN71).

You can read the sutta here: suttacentral.net/mn71.

Sessions include reading, discussion, and the occasional deep dive into the Pāḷi.

FoEBT's monthly Sutta Study Zoom Rooms currently focus on the Middle-Length Discourses (Majjhima Nikāya). The intention is to work through suttas identified as likely to be early, as per 'Studies in the Origins of Buddhism', by Govind Chandra Pande.

Pātimokkha books & PDF available

A few printed copies remain for distribution in the UK and elsewhere in Europe.

If you are a monastic or lay practitioner interested in a hard copy for use in supporting your personal practice, please get in touch through the 'Contact' page.

free PDF is available here.

Bhikkhunī Pāṭimokkha

It was our great pleasure to be involved with printing the fourth edition of the Bhikkhuni Pāṭimokkha, prepared by Ayya Tathaaloka and Nimmala Bhikkhuni, two Buddhist nuns in North America. A total of 500 copies were printed for distribution primarily in the UK and Europe. Some funds remain for one additional print, probably in North America.

For students of Pāḷi, what is particularly helpful is the book includes the Pāḷi on the left pages alongside English translation on the right pages. This arrangement is a great support for learning and improving Pāḷi.

If you are interested in receiving a copy of this book for your own personal practice, please contact us.
